After meeting in Houston in another band J.R. Rose, coming from a country music background, and George Lee, coming from a rock and country music background, formed a brotherhood to mingle both styles and genres of music and made a commitment to play and perform the music as it should be. Along comes Chris Divin, and Dale Fudge, both coming from a country and rock background, to round out the core of the Rocky Creek Band. Together they bring over 100 years of music playing experience and a strong desire to entertain.

Meet The Band

Rocky Creek Band is a group of singers and musicians from different backgrounds drawn together by a common love of music and the excitment of performing.

J.R. Rose

Singer/Guitarist

When you listen to the music made by Rocky Creek Band, you will notice a smooth voice ringing out from the speakers. This is the voice of lead vocalist, J.R. Rose. J.R. has the ability to go from baritone to tenor so fast that it does not even sound like the same person. J.R. started playing in junior high school with Minds Eye. Later he performed with Raindance (not the car wax), Country Oasis, and the Texas Roughcut Band. Being a local musician has not always been the case for J.R. He has performed at Harrah's, The Aladdin and The Imperial Palace in Las Vegas. He has also performed at the Country Music's Fan Fair in Nashville. Not only does J.R. sing, but he also provides the rhythm in the background coming from his acoustic guitar. J.R.'s musical influences include Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley, George Strait, the Beatles and Garth Brooks. ¨

George Lee

Lead Guitar/Singer

George Lee is a native Texan from Houston where he performed with country, rock, and blues bands such as Texas Rough-cut Band, Rocky Creek, and Modoc. After spending several years in Arizona performing with the Hard Knox Band, George Lee has returned to the Great State of Texas. George lives to play just about any kind of music but feels most at home bending the strings to a country classic, fingerpicking a Dire Straits tune, or burning up some riffs to a good old Southern Rock Classic. His musical influences include Mark Knopfler, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and the late Steve Gains from Lynyrd Skynyrd. Come out and meet George at a show near you!

Chris Divin

Bass Guitar/Singer

Chris has been playing professionally in bands around Texas since he was 20 years old. Numerous bands and studio projects in rock, fusion, blues and country. Influences include Jimi Hendrix, Billy Gibbons, Stevie Ray Vaughan, James Burton etc....

Dale Fudge

Drummer/Singer

The timing of Dale  is what keeps the rhythm section of The Rocky Creek Band flowing smoothly. Dale has been active as a drummer in both Canada and the United States. His performing background spans rock, country, blues, jazz and classical - live and in the studio.
